Happy Friday!!! We made it, time for a little marg or champ to celebrate!
I recently went back home to Charleston, SC for my Grandmothers surprise 80th birthday party. It was lit y’all. So, of course I had to spend a day downtown (which means photos). I really took my time strolling through location scouting and tried numerous backdrops with this maxi dress and obvs the Mint Candy Apple house on Rainbow Row was the winner! I spent my entire life until I turned 22 in Charleston and visit numerous times a year (the whole fam is still there) and each time I take a stroll Downtown I find new side streets with the most breath taking sights. I’m making it a goal to make a Travel Guide for you all on my next trip, from a locals viewpoint.
Now on to my dress, I purchased this dress for $20 YES $20, I’m talking $19.99 not $27.99 but let’s round down because it sounds better. Oh yeah, so I scored this dress for $20 from H&M from a limited collection (I believe) about 8 years ago. I wear it from time to time but now that I pulled it out again I’ve fallen back in love with long flowy maxi dresses and now am on the hunt for more!
I layered this dress with a Matthew Williamson for Macy’s vest I bought about 8 years ago (It was a REALLY good shopping year). I love the slimming cut of this moto vest and the light denim color makes it soft and a perfect pastel to pair with this dress.
I’ve begun my maxi dress shopping and linked some below, just for you!
