The Outfit:
Handbag: I’m wearing a few of my favorite basics here that I’ve honestly had for years with my new AMAZING steal of a deal and super exciting find of a handbag! Let me start by saying, The Chanel Boy Bag is #1 on my lust list. However, as an adult *rolls eyes* with goals and a budget to help keep me on track to meet said goals the Chanel Boy Bag isn’t (currently) on my priority list *real tears*. Originally, I purchased a similar bag from Target. If I’m not mistaken most Target stores sold out of the style within a few weeks. I loved the bag then on one of my weekly trips to Marshalls (if you know me IRL or follow me on Snap [shopjuliamarie] you know this is not an exaggeration) I stumbled upon this stunning grey quilted bag with glorious gold hardware and immediately knew I couldn’t put it down because if I did I’d risk not seeing it again. I also knew my beloved Target bag was going back in exchange for my find of the month. Best part of my find, it retails for $168 and I scored it for $39 *praise hands*!
I’m very particular with my handbags and strongly feel that a great handbag can elevate any look. Handbags to me are investment pieces and is a piece of my wardrobe I spend the most money. With that being said, this BCBG handbag is excellent quality and a piece I’ll be able to use and wear for quite some time. You know, until my dream bag is on “the list”.
Pants: These are my absolute favorite Fall/Winter pants. They are a Ponte 5 pocket jegging from 7 for All Mankind and I’ve been wearing them a few times a week each season since I bought them back in 2010. Reason 39384903 I swear by 7FAM and Cost per Wear. Unfortunately, 7FAM is not currently making these pants *the realest tears* last year they did make a similar pair to these so they may be available closer to winter, they are pretty thick. The fabric, cut and fit on these is amazing. They hold me in, smooth me out and hold my butt up to juicy rounded perfection.
The Rise Coffee Bar Review:
While in Charleston this past week I tried The Rise Coffee Bar located off Wentworth in The Restoration Hotel and I must say not only is it photogenic (I got some really great pix for The Gram) I had the BEST tea I’ve had thus far in my life! I ordered a Charleston Brew black tea, iced, no sweetener and I was so impressed with the flavors. I’m now inspired to try as many local coffee and tea shops as I can and become the best tea snob I know I’m destined to be.
P.S. I am in no way a food connoisseur but I have some quality taste buds if I say so myself. Also, I do love a good find and have to share the best of what I find with you.
