I have been using this hairspray for 7-8 years. It’s how I used to solely hold my top knot, it’s also the only hairspray that holds my hair. I have very soft fine hair, it literally feels like a toddlers hair. This is because I have never colored my hair, used heat or products on my hair. I am learning more about how to do my hair so that it will hold a style. You know, trying to be fly for photos. I have recently tried a few other hairsprays but this still remains my #1 go-to.
Being honest Hallie over here, I’m not big on make-up but I don’t like looking dead in photos so I’ve recently begun trying out new products. The elf face primer was HIGHLY recommended via my Pinterest search. Yes, that’s where I’m learning y’all. This is my second time purchasing the ELF face primer. Originally, I bought the “original” formula and LOVED it!!! Being that I’m experimenting I purchased this one next and I don’t love it nearly as much as the original formula. I love this fave primer because your skin feels so soft and smooth after applying it. Oddly enough my skin doesn’t feel nearly as smooth with the blemish control formula. This has become a part of my daily beauty routine.
Oil of Olay Complete Moisturizer
Not to sound old or anything but I’ve been using this face moisturizer over 15 years. It was the first one I ever purchased and tried and while I’ve given others a whirl this remains my one and only. I hate the feeling of product on my face (reason #1 I’m not a big make-up wearer) and while this is creamy it’s light. Also, it’s done a solid job of helping keep away the wrinkles.
Okay, I didn’t start using Dry Shampoo until 3 years ago and when I started experimenting Suave didn’t even cross my mind. I tried some rather reputal brands out then a co-worker recommended Suave and I was like, “STOP!?!”. Then I tried it and we (Suave Dry Shampoo) and I have been besties since. I’ve tried even more Dry Shampoo’s and I still go back to Suave. The only other comparable Dry Shampoo I’ve found is Dove, which I recently started using when my Target was sold out of my Suave.
I love Suave because as someone with “virgin” hair this formula creates volume and texture. In order to style my hair I have to use Dry Shampoo and Suave never lets me down.
SN: I also recommended Suave Dry Shampoo to my cousin and she too was like, “NO, Stop!?!” She’s now been loyal to it for over a year now as well as her sister.
Not Your Mother’s Thickening Spray
Lastly, with my fine virgin hair I 100% need a thickening spray in order to style my hair and this is 1 of 3 that I’ve tried thus far. I am still experimenting with other brands but I do like this brand.
If you have any thickening spray recommendations please let me know!
If you have any suggestions PLEASE let me know especially in the hair and make-up department, I’m learning!
