I’ve had my eyes peeled for this seasons trends and we all know I’m a big fan of ruffles *praise hands*. The other Summer trend I’m into is a one shoulder top so, when we combine the two and create a Ruffle One Shoulder Top I’m ALL the way #sold. One of my uniforms is a white top and denim, so classic but you can do so much with it so I’m always on the lookout for crisp white tops.
The Monogram Necklace I’m wearing is the very first Statement Monogram I got from my shop, Julia Marie. It’s the 2″ Lauren Monogram on a 16″ chain and was purchased 3 years ago and still one of my best accessories. Recently, I got a 2″ Nicole Monogram and love the slight heavier weight of it, it’s very similar to the Lauren but a different wider font. I finally ordered myself our Block Monogram Necklace and am SO excited for this one, it reflects like a mirror, I can’t wait to share it with you guys!

Hi Julia! I am so happy to find another girl like me. What I mean by “like me” is the body type and the high sense of fashion. I do not want to look pretensious…I do consider myself with high sense of fashion simply bc I love it, so in that sense I am able to see how important looking great (to your own eyes) is. That being said the fashion is an important part of the social life that can really lift you up if you feel as you want, for me “looking as I want” is almost a physical need, the first step to get to a mental positive stage that will lead me to be healthy, lets say that if I am happy I will be healthy, and looking nice makes me very happy=healthy.
I do not know if for others consider that my way to see it superficial. I do respect others opinions and styles and decisions about their personal care…but I need to live my life feeling “pretty”.
I do makeup everyday to go to work, even though I do not need it bc I am alone in my office but I enjoy doing it. I do care about not looking like a mess if I am in public but the most important thing is that I do want to look great for myself.
Same with the outfit.
When I have had special events in my life even if they are not related directly with my presentation from the outfits to the final touch of behavior, just think that it is give priority . It makes me feel secure and empowered.
Oh and I can not forget!!! I love the fun, not common, unique, fearless style.
Of course everything has a moment but playing wirh different vibrants colors, textures and styles( with some sense of style of course) and still look in harmony is my goal for every outfit, even just to go to Walmart o Target.I really need to feel that I look like that best version of me.
Your blog captures all that and with a real weight, you look gorgeous but not VS style, you look gorgeous and empowered in your own skin. I am fascinated with that. I love it. Please continue!!!
