The theme of this season is layering a nice coat over variations of sweatsuits. Cheap Wal-Mart sweatsuits, Sassy sweatsuits with puff shoulders and satin piping, Adidas track pants, Makeshift sweatsuits of velvet joggers and a sweater ….. I could go on but you saw the photos.
I feel like the obvious route is to pair your vintage wool coat a refined woman wore in the 80’s with your business wear or church clothes (you know what I mean). However, I don’t have either of those and sassing up casual wear with more elevated pieces is my personal style so that’s what I did.
Give me some credit, I paired her with a sweater dress as well as a proper black sweater and black denim.
